Kindergarten shots!!!

So I am taking Kole tomorrow to get signed up and assessed for kindergarten.. Crazy!!! After that he has an appointment to get his first round of kindergarted shots... He is not so excited about it.. Well this morning on the way to my moms an out of the blue conversation.. "Mom did Lucifer get kindergarted shots? Um trying not to laugh because we have had alot of conversations about Lucifer(Satan) lately. I said "No Kole Lucifer did not receive a body." A long pause then he says "Mom did Jesus get his kindergarten shots?" Um "No Kole they didn't have kindergarten when Jesus lived on the earth." Ya he is alittle intense... Very smart and very inquisitive... I guess that is what there is to love about the innocense of children. I feel so greatful to have 4 beautiful and healthy ones!!!!

Thomas S. Monson

I did know it was Thomas S. Monson... I am not as good at doing 2 things at once as I thougt I was. I was working with Landon on his school project and he was writing the word help. That is where the Thomas H. Monson came from.. So I guess I need to clear that up seeing he will be our next great Prophet..

What an AMAZING man!!!

Today was a beautiful day with all the new white snow!!! It was even more beautiful because we were able to pay tribute to a wonderful prophet this weekend. As I watched his funeral and listened to his family as well as Thomas H. Monson I thought we all loved him... My sister Tori said you feel like you knew him and that you could just go up and give him a hug... He did so much good for our church and for those always observing with a watchful eye. Even the news anchors that were not members of the church had tears in their eyes during the wonderful week of reflection on his life. It puts everything in perspective doesn't it? It doesn't matter what material things we have, what car we drive, where our house is located.. None of that matters when we pass on through the vail.. All that matters is how we treat each other, care for our families and try to teach the gospel through example. I know I need to work on that daily. I do know that our Prophet was a very selfless man who did not stop because of old age or a tiring body. He continued up until the very week he passed away. What an AMAZING man who will be greatly missed. I am very greatful to have lived during his time. And I am greatful that my 5 year old recognizes him as a prophet and wants to pray for him... Well I hope we can all remember his cute smile and great sense of humor!!!
